This initiative aims to establish a local mental health council, a primary mental health facility, and sustainable programs to promote the well-being of every Bayawanon.

The said meeting was attended by representatives from the City Health Office, Department of Education – City of Bayawan Division, and other department heads from various city government offices of Bayawan City.
The proposal has passed the First Reading, hence the conduct of the committee meeting. It has been referred back for further study and amendment, with emphasis on identifying provisions that are applicable and responsive to the local context of Bayawan City.
