Legislative Agenda Formulation Workshop
The 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bayawan City successfully conducted its Legislative Agenda Formulation Workshop at Bai Hotel, Cebu City on August 13–15, 2025.
Spearheaded by Vice Mayor Rusmar Tijing together with the City Councilors, the workshop aimed to craft strategic legislative priorities for the city’s development. The facilitator, Dr. Jesus Robel Sastrillo Jr.- DILG Provincial Director of Cebu Province, shared valuable insights that will guide the Council in formulating responsive and impactful local policies.
Vice Mayor Rusmar Tijing thanked the city councilors and all the staff for the active participation on this important activity and he highlighted that the 10th city council shall be more engaging, collaborative, and transparent. The Legislative Agenda is an important tool that will stipulate the priority legislative measures, legislative calendar and the legislative programs that are aligned with the Executive agenda and the Comprehensive Development Plan in the next 3 years.
